MRP-146 Inspections

EPRI’s MRP-146 program and supporting documents provide for an effective approach to managing thermal fatigue in normally stagnant, non-isolable RCS branch lines of PWR’s.   WesDyne has extensive experience is performing the associated inspections using a formal qualification process such as PDI-UT-2.  Our examiners can overcome the challenge of inspecting small branch line piping diameters and are familiar with the morphology and unique characteristics of thermal fatigue and craze cracking.

Partnering with our Westinghouse teams, we can provide a complete solution of inspection, engineering analysis and structural weld overlay (SWOL) repair to satisfy MRP-146 requirements.
