Eddy Current probes

Eddy current methods are used for detection of cracks and irregularities on the surface of conductive materials. The method is very sensitive for detection of cracks where the opening to the surface is very tight.

The eddy current method can also be used for non‐contact inspection of difficult geometries i.e. surfaces where a probe would have difficulties being in continuous contact with the surface. The probe is mounted at a fixed offset to the inspection surface and then manipulated over the desired areas.

Our unique capability to design and manufacture eddy current probes allows us to combine several types of transducers (both eddy current and ultrasonic) in a single probe. We are specialized in miniature eddy current probes with geometries according to the object to be inspected.
